Bear River South Shore:

South shore of lower Bear River Reservoir, 42 miles east of Jackson. Camping, picnicking, trails into Mokelumne Wilderness. Open during Summer season.

Bear River Group Campground:

​Four miles south of Hwy. 88 near Bear River Reservoir. Camping, water, tables, campfires, parking. Open during Summer season.

Bear River Lake Resort:

Bear River reservoir. Camping, fishing water skiing, hiking, swimming, restaurant and bar. Located 42 miles east of Jackson, Hwy/ 88. ​

Camanche North Shore:

Camanche Road, Ione. Year round camping, cottages, RV parks, boating, canoeing, picnic area

Kirkwood Lake Campground:

Open during Summer season. Twelve campsites, trailheads, boat carry down access, non-power boating permitted. Good rainbow trout fishing.

Lake Amador Resort:

7500 Lake Amador Drive, Ione, year-round, 1,250 campsites, RV park, fishing, boat rentals, ramp, swimming pool.

Pardee Recreation Area:

4900 Stoney Creek Rd., Ione. Resort, fishing, trailer park, camping, boat rentals, picnic areas. Lake for fishing only.

PiPi Valley:

Off road vehicles, camping, picnics.

Plasse’s Resort at Silver Lake:

30001 Plasse Rd. Silver Lake. 50 miles east of Jackson on Hwy. 88. RV and tent camping. Water hook ups, showers, laundry, trading post, restaurant and bar, propane, dump station, fishing, water sports, hiking, canoe and kayak rentals, horseshoes, boat launch and more.

Roaring Camp Mining Company:

49er Gold Camp with prospectors cabins, saloon, snack bar. Cabin and tent camping by the week. Daily guided all day adventure tours. Tours go to Mokelumne Canyon.

Salt Springs Reservoir:

Located in El Dorado national forest at 3900 ft. elevation, with forested shoreline. Campsites. Fishing. Off highway 88, 55 miles east of Jackson.

Woods Lake:

South of Hwy. 88 near Carson pass. 19 camping units, water, trails, toilets, motorboats not allowed on lake.
